The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team lost at King's, 10-3, Wednesday afternoon.
Krista Shenk led the MU attack with three goals and an assist while
Catie Viegas added two goals and an assist.
Emily Foley and
Kate Pagnotta both scored goals and
Colleen Hunt made 15 saves in goal.
King's led 6-0 midway through first half before MU got on the board with Viegas' unassisted goal at 12:54.
Shenk made it 8-2 four minutes later and Foley scored just before halftime to make it 10-3 at the break.
King's scored in first minute of the second half and Pagnotta answered a minute later with an assist from Shenk.
King's stretched lead to 14-4 before Shenk scored at 13:05 to make it 14-5.
Viegas scored at 6:37 and assisted on Shenk's goal with 2:41 to play.
MU, 2-8/0-7, will travel to Alvernia, Saturday at 1:00.
