Lee Blair and
Sean McGuigan combined for nine goals to lift the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to a 21-6 win over Mount St. Mary, Wednesday.
McGuigan scored five goals with an assist and Blair added four goals and an assist while
Patrick Johnson earned the win making nine saves in goal.
Blair opened the scoring just 26 seconds into the match and
Kyle Calabro added another goal before the Knights scored with 8:29 left in the first quarter.
MU proceeded to go on a 12-0 run, highlighted by eight different Cougars scoring, to end the first half up 14-1.
Blair opened the third quarter with a goal nine seconds into action.
Nick Kenna and Josh Schwartz capped off the scoring to bring the final tally to 21-6.
The Cougars improved to 6-1 and will be in action again when they travel to Alvernia on Saturday.
