Box Score Alvernia jumped out to an 8-1 lead and the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team could never erase the deficit, falling to the Crusaders 21-9 on Tuesday night in Reading, PA.

Catie Viegas led the Cougars in scoring for the second straight game with three goals while Brooke Pagnotta, Allie Elmes and Brooke North each added two.

Erika Proctor made 10 saves in goal for the Cougars.

MU will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Immaculata.
