Box Score The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team turned in a strong defensive effort, but dropped a tough 6-4 decision to Clark University on Saturday in Clearwater, FL.

Patrick Kellish and
Lane Kocovsky scored the goals for the Cougars while Fleming added two assists and
Andrew Reynolds had one assist in the loss.

Patrick Johnson posted 20 saves in net for MU.

Clark jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, but MU responded with two of its own later in the half. Winslow posted his first collegiate goal in the second quarter and then Fleming found the back of the net less than a minute later on a feed from Reynolds.

Clark picked up a goal with just under four minutes left in the second to take a 3-2 lead, but Kellish tied the game at 3-3 for MU with two minutes left in the opening half.

Clark again captured a lead, scoring with 2:30 left in the third quarter. The Cougars answered again when Kocovsky took a feed from Fleming and fired it into the net. With just 3:30 left in the game.

Despite knotting the game at 4-4, Clark University tallied two goals late in the game to capture the 6-4 victory.

MU returns to action Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 at Neumann University.
