Chris Fleming had two goals for the Cougars and

Andrew Reynolds had a goal, an assist and six ground balls.
John Tierney had three caused turnovers and three ground balls and
Patrick Newins had three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Alec Kellish had three caused turnovers and two ground balls and Pat Kellish had a team-high four caused turnovers.
Marywood took a 1-0 lead in the opening minute, but Kocovsky and Reynolds scored just six seconds apart for a 2-1 lead with 13:13 to go in the first quarter.
Marywood scored seven unanswered goals to take a 9-2 lead midway through the third quarter.
Fleming scored twice and
Michael Iglio and
Kyle Reese added goals as the Cougars scored four times in three minutes in the fourth quarter to get within 10-7 with 2:23 to play.
The Cougars finished 10-8.
