The Misericordia women's lacrosse team fell to Moravian, 17-12, Tuesday afternoon in Clearwater, Florida.

Olivia Garcia led the Cougars with four goals. Kate Raab scored three times and Amy Roth contributed with two goals and an assist. Lexee Willey and Ashley Hobbs provided the other two goals for Misericordia. Lauren Weitzel also contributed with an assist.

Tori Hodges made 10 saves in goal for the Cougars.

Emily Connell and Weitzel each caused two turnovers. Brianna Ladner secured seven draw controls and Kaila Quinlivan had six draw controls of her own.

Connell also picked up three ground balls to lead the Cougars, followed by two each from Garcia, Quinlivan, Alyssa Pratti and Amanda Rackliff.

The Cougars will play their second game in Florida, Thursday at 11:00 when they take on SUNY Oneonta.
