Misericordia University football standout Michael Anderson has been named to the Eastern College Athletics Conference All-Star team.

A 6-3, 290-pound first-year guard, Anderson was named to the All-ECAC second-team.

He started all 10 games for the Cougars and paved the way for a rushing attack that finished second in the MAC with 157.8 yards per game during the regular season.

The Cougars tied for second in the MAC with 4.4 yards per carry.

Misericordia finished 5-3 in the MAC and qualified for a MAC-Centennial Bowl Game for the second straight season.
