Molly Celesky led the Cougars with three goals and
Michelle Torzilli and
Genevieve Montanye scored two goals.
Justine Johnson had a goal and two assists and Savanna Winpigler and
Rachel Shook both scored a goal.
Alyssa Delgadillo added two assists.
Maggie McGovern had nine saves and five ground balls.
Torzilli opened the scoring early in the first period and Celesky scored unassisted midway through the period to give MU a 2-0 lead.
Dickinson scored three straight goals before Shook pulled MU even early in the second quarter.
Montanye put the Cougars back in front with 6:44 to play in the second quarter, but Dickinson tied it less than a minute later.
Johnson put the Cougars ahead for good with 3:47 left in the second period and Montanye made it 6-4 25 seconds later.
Torzilli gave MU a three-goal lead midway through the third period, but Dickinson scored twice late in the period to get within 7-6.
Celesky made it 8-6 with 1:28 remaining in the third.
Winpigler and Celesky both scored early in the fourth quarter to give MU a 10-6 advantage and the Cougars held off a late rally.
MU will host Franklin & Marshall, Saturday at 1:00.
