Misericordia University women's cross country standout Sarah DeVries has been named to the Academic All-MAC team.
 
Student-athletes must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 for the fall semester to be eligible for the award.  The team was selected by the conference Sports Information Directors. 
 
A senior early childhood education major, DeVries earned first-team All-MAC status and all-region status.
 
She finished ninth at the MAC Championships and was 22^nd of 209 runners at the Mid-Atlantic regional championships.
