Misericordia University men's lacrosse standout
Trey Stasse has been named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week.
The senior midfielder had seven ground balls and six caused turnovers in a 1-1 week as the Cougars clinched a postseason berth.
Stasse had two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in a 9-6 loss at DeSales. He added five ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 19-8 win over FDU-Florham. With that performance, he became the school's career leader in caused turnovers.
Stasse and the No. 4 Cougars travel to No. 1 Stevens for the 2025 MAC Freedom Semifinals, Wednesday at 7:00.
