Six members of the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team have been named to the All-MAC Freedom team, including first-team selection
Trey Stasse.
Connor Bevan and
Ty Murawski made the second-team and
Aiden D'Ambrosio,
Danny D'Amato and
Sean Wallace earned honorable mention.
Stasse was selected as long-pole midfielder. He led the Cougars with 17 caused turnovers and was second on the team with 46 ground balls. Stasse was 12
th in the MAC Freedom with one caused turnover per game.
Bevan was named at attack after leading the team with 64 points, 40 goals and 24 assists. Bevan scored at least one goal in every regular season game and finished sixth in the league with 2.35 goals per game, 3.76 points per game and 1.41 assists per game.
He scored a season-high five goals in a win over King's and had a team-high nine points in a win over FDU-Florham.
Murawski was selected a midfielder. He was third on the team with 20 goals and 36 points and was second with 16 assists. He ended the season on a six-game goal-scoring streak.
D'Ambrosio was named as a midfielder while D'Amato is a defender and Wallace is a goalie.
D'Ambrosio had 14 goals and 12 assists and was fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points.
D'Amato started all 17 games and had 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
Wallace stepped into the starting goalkeeper role midway through the season and tied for the second in the league with a 56.3 save %. He finished third in the league with a 10.55 goals against average.
The Cougars finished 4-3 in league play and qualified for the MAC Freedom Championships.
