Box Score Parker McArdle's first-half goal gave the Misericordia University men's soccer team a 1-0 win at Gettysburg, Wednesday night.

Kevin Matlon had the assist and Barry Fitzgerald made three saves to earn the shutout.

After McArdle served a ball into the box on an MU corner, the ball was played away by the Gettysburg defense, but Matlon crossed the ball back to McArdle who put it inside the near post from 18 yards out.

Matlon had a solid second half for the MU defense and Derek Antonini applied constant pressure to the Gettysburg defense.

MU, 2-1, will host Baptist Bible, Saturday night.
