The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team will host FDU-Florham in the first round of the MAC Freedom championships, Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Mangelsdorf Field.

Ticket prices for the MAC Freedom contest are $5 adults, $4 seniors and $2 for children 6+.

The Cougars are seeded fourth after finishing 9-8 overall and 5-3 in the MAC Freedom during the regular season while FDU-Florham is seeded fifth.

Misericordia won the regular season meeting, 20-4, and have won six straight over the Devils and eight of the last nine.

This is the third postseason meeting between the schools with MU winning both of the previous contests. Misericordia is making its eighth straight MAC Freedom Tournament appearance.

Misericordia ranks second in the league in points, goals and assists per game.

Kyle Vandenberg (3.00),
Ryan Vandenberg (2.88) and
Connor Bevan (2.82) rank third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in goals per game in the MAC Freedom.

Robert Wagner leads the league with 3.54 assists per game while Bevan is fourth and
Michael Kilgallon III is sixth.

Wagner (5.46) and Bevan (4.29) are one-two in the league in points per game.

FDU-Florham's Brenden Fabin is 12
th in the league with 2.47 goals per game and Lucas Berghahn is 14
th.

The Misericordia/FDU-Florham winner will advance to the semifinals where they will face top-seeded Stevens.
