Misericordia University baseball standout
Brady Madden has been named MAC Freedom Player of the week.
A graduate student, Madden lifted the Cougars to a 3-0 week at the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Madden finished the week batting 5-11 (.455) and scored four runs with three homers and five RBI.
Madden went 2-3 with two home runs and three runs scored in the Cougars 15-9 extra-inning win vs. #5 Baldwin Wallace, Saturday.
On Sunday, he launched a solo homer in the opener and collected two hits in the nightcap in the Cougars doubleheader sweep of Wabash.
Madden and the Misericordia baseball team will remain in Port Charlotte until Thursday and are back in action with Lebanon Valley, Monday at 2:00.
