The Misericordia University men's  basketball team will travel to Arcadia for a MAC Freedom semifinal, Wednesday at 7:30.

The Cougars are seeded fourth after finishing 16-9 overall and 8-6 in the MAC Freedom.  Arcadia is the top seed and is 18-7 overall and 11-3 in the MAC Freedom.

The Knights swept both meetings between the two teams during the regular season.

DeSales will visit Stevens in the other semifinal contest.

This is the first postseason meeting between the teams since 2022 when the Cougars avenged a pair of regular season losses with a 98-70 win at Arcadia.

The game features the top-two defensive teams in the MAC Freedom.  Arcadia led the league with 66.8 points allowed per game while Misericordia was second at 70.6 points per game.

Nick Prociak leads the Cougars in scoring with 15.4 points per game and is third in the league with 7.2 rebounds.

Jack Gallagher is second on the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game and leads the MAC Freedom with 7.9 rebounds per game.

Gallagher is third in the league with 0.9 blocked shots per game and fourth with 1.7 steals per game.

Darryl Wright leads the league with a 2.7 assist/turnover ratio and is tied for the league lead with 1.9 steals per game.  He is fourth in the league with 4.5 assists per game.

Arcadia's Jamison Lynam is third in the league with 18.0 points per game while Nas Johnson is fourth at 17.9 ppg.

Joshua Okocha leads the Knights and is second in the league with 7.4 rebounds per game.
