Misericordia University Athletics

Fisher is recognized as a coach and administrator after serving as the first baseball coach in Misericordia history in 1982.

He spent seven seasons at the helm and led the Cougars to their first conference championship when they won the NAIA District 19 title in 1988. 

He was named District 19 Coach-of-the-Year as well.

Two members of that championship team went on to play professional baseball.

A member of the social work faculty at Misericordia, Fisher served several years as Misericordia’s Faculty Athletic Representative.
