Peele was a standout on the women’s basketball team in the late 1960’s.

During a 9-1 junior season, she led CM in scoring with 12.8 points per game.

As a senior, she tied for the team scoring lead as the Highlanders finished 8-1.

She remains active as a player for the Hampton Road Sea Gals, the Senior Champions in the state of Virginia.
