Michael was the first men’s basketball standout at Misericordia. Playing in an era before the three-point shot, he became the first men’s basketball player at CM to score 1,000 career points.

He ended his career as the all-time leading scorer at CM with 1,558 points and is currently third on the school’s all-time scoring list.
